This Old Doll's
EFFANBEE (F&B) DOLLS
16" Anne Shirley (Little Lady)

This lovely compo doll was made in 1948. She looks mint with her perfect compo face and beautifully coifed, chestnut brown human hair. I've seen this outfit on other Effanbee dolls so it may be original but I suspect it really belongs on a Patsy. Notice the feathered eyebrows and green eyes and position of the hands. Her fingers are spread and separate. This doll body was also used on Effanbee's "American Child" and its original outfits included a coat, hat and leather gloves. She's a really nice example.
