Effanbee (F&B) Gallery

This platinum blonde hard plastic doll is Tintair (tint hair) Honey. She's a strung doll, 14" tall. She's Effanbee's answer to Ideal's Toni doll that was sold with a home perm kit that was really just shampoo and miniature curlers. Honey's hair is white and she was originally sold with curlers and hair dye that would wash out. This one is wearing her original white organdy dress with embroidered pint flowers. I added the hat which I'll trim to match the dress eventually and make her a pair of shoes that aren't so bulky. She's from about 1952.
Value: in this condition, about $190.
