This was my first Arranbee doll. She has a mohair wig and when I got her, I didn't know all the pitfalls of washing mohair. Since then I learned how lucky I was! The wig is short and in excellent condition to it stood up to washing, brush out and setting. It's very soft and wonderful but i've since found that doing this has a success rate of about 10%. So for every mohair wig you find that will take this treatment, ther will be at least nine that will fall apart. Her dress may be original, it fits her perfectly and is a light cotton print with an attached slip. Her oilcloth shoes are center snap and showing their age. The doll is strung and in wonderful condition.
