This is an early Margaret face that was probably sold as Wendy Ann. Her dress is gold taffeta trimmed with white lace that is stitched on in the shape of a bib apron. It has a wide sash that ties in a bow at the back. Her dark ash wig is human hair and if the curls were straightened out, would be shoulder length. Her black patent shoes are oilcloth side snaps with bows in the front. I've seen this doll with either a large bow in her hair or a straw hat. I added a natural straw hat but otherwise, she is all original and the perfect face is untouched since the day she came from the factory over 50 years ago.
