Madame Alexander Gallery

This Cissy has been totally redone, from her face and hair to her gold pumps. Hair is a short wig by Wee3, face repainted by Sandy at Toland's Doll Shop in Ghent, Ohio. Dress was made by Lee Majors of Elyria, Ohio. I bought the doll, nude and bald at a McMaster's Treasure Hunt auction for $90 and her repairs and clothing came to another $150, so hopefully she's worth at least the $240 I have in her. This is a prime example of why dolls are to be enjoyed. If you're buying for investment, look for mint dolls. There's not much if any profit in restoration for resale. Restoration for fun has other rewards. Doesn't she look nice?
