Effanbee (F&B) Gallery

She's 22" tall and all original. She is identical to the doll Cecile Tenery remembers from her childhood. The gown is pale pink satin with tiny gold foil dots. The trim is ruffles of the same fabric. Like the bridal gown, there is no lace. The gown has large puffed sleeves, a black velvet midrif that continues to a ruffled edged peplum over the full skirt. There is also a pink sash that ties in the back. The shoes are hunter green sandals with gripper snaps. Like the bride, she has rayon socks, panties, and bra. Also like the bride, she has a human hair wig. Cecile displays this doll as the bridesmaid to her 22" Effanbee bride. She and the bride were made around 1948 but time has stood still for her. She's very near mint. Value: $400.+
